Introduction

This service page is where you are requesting approval for of documentation in the operational phase. It covers the following three categories:

• Alterations - new installation or modification of one or more vessels.  An alteration is a modification of one or more vessels/units, where survey is required to confirm the installation, and possible re-assurance of certificates.
  This service will be set up as a project with link to the vessel(s) you define (you can add or remove vessels later). When the request is handled, an RR will be issued for each vessel, that shall be used when you request survey.
  Choose between the below pre-defined services, or select self-defined scope with a detailed description of the changes you need approval for. An alteration is a (vessel) change that does not affect the basic character or structure of the vessel it is applied to.
  Please note that request of alteration projects is done from this page, while further handling of the alteration projects is done in  'Approval - Vessel in operations'.
• Pre-defined documentation, manuals & plans.  Use this option to request approval of predefined documents listed in the portal.  Approval of the predefined manuals and plans will be invoiced at a fixed fee in accordance with the Terms & Conditions accepted at the time of submission of the Order in the steps that follow
• Other documentation. Used for approval of other documents (for a single vessel) not covering modifications or new installations requiring follow-up survey. The documents will be screened and we will return to you with a scope and quote.

How to request approval

From Fleet Vessel list

1.  Open Fleet status, navigate to Vessel Services menu, then select Approval of documentation. Here you will find Approval for all your vessels. 
2. Select the relevant approval category
3. Complete the required information
4. Submit the request. 

 

From Vessel overview page

1. Open Fleet status, navigate to Vessel services, Vessel list and open the vessel by clicking it in the list. Click Approval in the menu.  Here you will find Approval for the specific vessel
2. Select the relevant approval category
3. Complete the required information
4. Submit the request.
