Document Requirements specify the documentation required by DNV GL.

In the 'Document Requirements' tab, folders are used to organise requirements into functional groups. A folder can have the following status:

 Documentation not received for the requirements in this folder

 Documentation received for some of the requirements in this folder

 Documentation received for all of the requirements in this folder

Expanding the folders will show the requirements. A document requirement can have the following status:

 Documentation not received for this requirement

 Documentation received for this requirement

Expanding the document requirement will show the document cards mapped to it.

Similarly expanding the document card in the 'My Documents' pane will show the document requirement mapped to it.

When you select a document requirement, additional information is displayed in the bottom section of the "Documents" screen:

• Additional description - what is covered by this requirement
• Status - whether the required documentation has been received by DNV GL
• Information - why and for whom this requirement is applicable
• Discipline - for what subject area the requirement is applicable
• Definition - additional information about the documentation required in order to fulfil this requirement
• Vessel - applies to select requirements only. Specifies the vessel in a series of vessels to which the requirement is applied.
