The “Data Quality”-section lets you monitor the state of the operational data you have reported for your vessels. The data quality check results are updated daily. Quality check issues need to be resolved in order to complete the reporting for the vessel.
Data quality checks differ between EU MRV, UK MRV and DCS. When checking the data quality status, you should choose the service/regulation and reporting period to see the relevant results:
The data quality check results view consists of the following main elements:
- Filters, to choose what to see in the view
- Reporting year
- Vessel name or IMO
- Show only vessels with issues or warnings
- The main view – showing all vessels and top-level data check results
- If a check is not passed, it results in issue (red marker) or warning (yellow marker). Issues are more severe that warnings and focus should be clear all issues for the vessel. Passed checks get the green marker.
- For warnings/issues, you can “drill down” to details showing what data is causing the check to fail. To pass the check, revised data needs to be provided and the check re-processed.
