Monitoring plans
From the Monitoring plans-page you can check, for all your vessels, the status of your monitoring plans for MRV and DCS (aka. SEEMP part II).
To create or update monitoring plans, you shall use the “plan generator” available from the “Actions” menu. Note that the plan generator is available for vessels greater than 5000 GT.
There are separate plan generators for MRV monitoring plan (valid for EU and UK) and the IMO DCS SEEMP part II:
For a submitted plan, the verifier may issue comments that need your input. Comments are indicated in the MRV plan and SEEMP Part II plan columns, by a dialog-bubble. You will also receive a notification-email when a new comment is registered.
Clicking the "comment bubble" or selecting "open comments" from the action-menu will launch the comment-dialog. Input given here, will be available to the verifier of the plan.
The MRV plan generator supports the generation of the MRV monitoring plan. The plan consists of 5 sections to be completed, before it can be submitted:
Plan should be reviewed for completeness before it is submitted. The plan is considered a draft until it has been submitted.
The SEEMP part II generator supports the generation of the IMO DCS monitoring plan – SEEMP part II. The plan consists of 4 sections to be completed, before it can be submitted:
If you have an existing approved MRV monitoring plan for the vessel, you may have the option to use this as basis for the SEEMP part II (some exceptions apply, not all flags allow for this). If you select this option, there is only the ship particulars-section that needs to be completed.
Plan should be reviewed for completeness before it is submitted. The plan is considered a draft until it has been submitted for verification.
For the MRV and the SEEMP part II plan generators the following applies:
Submit plan button: When all sections are completed, you submit the plan for verification. When submitting a new or updated plan, the system will create an order for the verification of the plan. For detailing the order, you will input a short revision-text and have the option to add a PO number (purchase order number). For more information the order-registration, see the “Order and invoice details”-section.
Copy vessel data button: If you prepare plans for several vessels, you have the option to copy sections from an already approved plan to reduce the effort required to enter identical data.
Preview plan button: While you prepare the plan, you can generate and download a PDF-version of the plan. Note that the approved plan will be available for download in the MRV\Overview section.
