In line with security best practices, DNV will use a personal login email to identify users. This will provide the following benefits:

A login email is used to identify every user. This means every person using the system must have an email for login, which is not used by anyone else. We recommend the identity to be personal, but it could also be a unit where persons in the unit login with a shared identity email.

Note! Sharing an identity among several people poses additional security risks. For instance, when someone leaves a company or when passwords need to be changed.

A profile is used to provide access to an application. Each profile defines access levels and is connected to a company. You may have several profiles connected to your login email. The use of profiles is available in the following applications on My Services:

It is possible to switch between these different profiles by clicking you name in the upper right corner in one of the above mentioned applications, then switch profile.
