This page describes how to manage the documents: vessel-specific plan approval and non vessel specific product certification.
On signing into 'eApproval', you can see the document card list in the left pane and the document details in the right pane.
You can create a list of drawings by using the import drawing list function.
1. Create the drawing list in Excel(starting in cell A1) with the columns "Folder name", "Document No.", "Document Title", and "Document Type" and save in "XML spreadsheet 2003 (*.xml)" format.
2. The folder name will be the same name as in the tree structure.
3. Document number and document title are mandatory.
4. Document type can be either drawing, calculation, report or misc. Drawing is default and will be applied if this column is empty.
5. In 'eApproval', use the 'Import/Export' button to import the Excel sheet. Follow the instructions in the pop-up window.
You can manually add folders and drawings by selecting the folder and clicking the 'New' button.
Select the folder or type of document and fill in the details in the dialog box.
Drawings and folders will be added to the active folder.
This option can be used even if a drawing list has been previously imported.
Uploading of drawings can start as soon as they are added to the drawing list.
Folders and doc cards can be edited or deleted.
Note that folders can only be deleted if they are empty.
