How to give users of Veracity access to Emissions Insights

Emissions Insights contains data which may be considered as sensitive. Access to it should therefore be discussed and agreed internally.

Please follow these steps to give users of Veracity access to Emissions Insights:

The company admin user in Veracity / Fleet Status shall:

1. Click on their own name in upper right corner
2. Press "Maritime Access Management"
3. Go to the tab "Feature Access"
4. Click in the check box for the users they want to grant access to.

Introduction

Emissions Insights is a dashboard for your monitoring of CO2 emissions from your fleet. The intention is to provide you with insights into your DCS data and fleet performance compared with benchmarks and targets.

Emissions Insights consists of two main pages: one page showing you the preliminary CII Rating, and one page providing you with the AER statistics relative to Poseidon Principles targets and industry benchmarks.

Features in CII Rating Dashboard

The CII rating Dashboard gives you the overview of your preliminary CII Rating. The rating is based on the DCS Data submitted to DNV.

You can see the preliminary CII Rating for your fleet and vessels. The vessel overview gives you the input for calculation of estimated CII and the preliminary rating for your vessels. The vessel type and capacity are collected from the ship’s SEEMP. You can change which year you study, and the table will show the results based on the DCS submitted for the selected year.

You can also study the rating each vessel would achieve in future years, given the CII performance for the selected year, provided no change in vessel performance. The vessel performance is a result of the vessel specific operational profile for the selected year. If you change which year you study, you will see the preliminary future rating based on the CII performance of that year.

The CII Rating Charts provides you with the graphical overview of your preliminary CII rating. The dark blue line presents the vessel data, and you can see the distance from each rating boundary clearly in the graphs. If you mouse-over a given year, you can see the specific rating bounds in the legend.

Features in AER Analytics Dashboard

The AER Analytics Dashboard gives you the overview of the calculated AER values, based on the submitted DCS data.

The table shows you the fleet and vessel performance, compared with benchmark data and the Poseidon Principles target. The Industry Benchmark is the benchmarking for the given fleet group, based on DCS reported to DNV. The P25% represents the results for the 25% best performers for the given fleet group.

You can use the speed profile and date range selection to study the AER results for your fleet or selected vessels for certain time periods.

The time charts allow you to study the AER trend of your vessels, compared to benchmarks, Poseidon Principles targets, and each other.

Who have access and which vessels do you see?

Emissions Insights is available to our DCS Customers. You will see results for the vessels that have DCS Verification with DNV.
