Bookshelf on Veracity for Class
Please note: Bookshelf is replaced by "Vessel Bookshelf" available under Documents. The old Bookshelf feature will be sunset at a later stage.
The bookshelf feature is available under 'Vessels' by clicking on (
) button for a vessel and then 'Bookshelf'.
The 'Bookshelf' allows you to easily keep a total overview of all vessel certificates (including the digital or scanned copies) – regardless of the issuing agency.
It gives you also the possibility to upload and manage your own documents or items.
The 'Bookshelf' service is available for every vessel for which your company is registered as a Manager.
Key features:
- Certificates issued and scanned by DNV are automatically available (read-only and cannot be edited, however you can upload new files in connection with endorsements). (Note that there may be some certificates issued by DNV that are not available as scanned files.)
- Add scanned certificates issued by any other agency.
- Manage key status data in the system (issue date, next endorsement date, time window, expiry date). Keep track of who made the last change to a certificate.
- Create limited users with Read-only access to the Bookshelf, by deselecting the service VI: Scanned certificates.
- Export all information to excel
- Create a customer Bookshelf section
