Vessel information

For detailed information on a specific vessel, click on the vessel name in the vessel list on Home page or Vessel Services page.

You will get access to the following information:


Vessel status

Under 'Status' you will get an overview of surveys, memos, conditions, and so on grouped by certificate.

 

 

The icons on the left indicates the Certificate status:

 

For vessels DNV is not authorized to issue full term certificate(s) for, the survey due dates are only indicated dates based on harmonized certificates. The survey due dates may therefore not be correct.

For 100A5 vessels transferred to our common production system the old codes from Fleet Online are available in Vessel Status. You can switch to the new codes by clicking on ‘Codes’ and selecting new “New code”.

On the top right, you can find the action menu (), with access to reports, tools and requests.

You can also request a survey or vessel audit by clicking on ().

You can export data to Excel by clicking on (     ). From here you can select:

For each item you can get more info by clicking on the icons to the right:

The symbol to the left of the code indicate if the request for this survey item will be a survey () or a vessel audit ().

 symbol to the left of the survey item indicates that a survey job is ongoing.

Vessel details

 'Details' gives you more information about your vessel such as:

 

When expanding the Menu item (), you will find Reports, Tools and Requests.

 

 

Under Reports you can find 'Survey preparation notes', 'Vessel summary reports' and 'Class Status report'.

Class status report can be downloaded 'With Memorandum to Owner' our 'Without Memorandum to owner':

 

The column Tools provide direct links to 'Requirements for vessel' and 'Vessel DATE case(s), while Requests provide links to 'Request survey / vessel audit', 'Request DATE' and 'Document approval'.

 


Requests & jobs

A list of all ordered survey requests will appear. From here you can view, edit or cancel a survey request, edit the purchase order number, download the survey preparation note or view terms & conditions for the survey request (see Request survey or vessel audit).

Follow-up

A list of follow-up items for the relevant vessel will appear. The list shows the status, text and due date for the following items:


Documents

A list of all survey reports, class status reports, certificates and other documents like the ERS report. Share certificates and Inspection of Records is also available here.


Image library

Purpose

Use the Image library in Fleet Status (Veracity) to view and explore photos captured during vessel surveys and inspections. These images help you understand findings, vessel condition, and follow-up actions.

How to access the Image library

Available to users with access to Fleet Status.

Available images depend on vessel, survey history, and user permissions.

  1. Open Fleet Status in Veracity.
  2. Navigate to the relevant vessel.
  3. Select the Image library section.

What is the Image library

The Image library in Fleet Status provides access to images collected by DNV surveyors during vessel surveys, inspections, and Condition Assessment Program (CAP) surveys (where applicable).

What you can do in the Image library

You can use the Image library to:

Images are linked to relevant findings and vessel areas, providing visual context to support analysis and follow-up actions.


Approval

Fleet in Service customers have the possibility to keep track on the submitted and vessel related approvals.

 

For ongoing projects sent in by 'Approval' solution:

Fleet in Service customers have the possibility to keep track on the submitted and vessel related approvals.

If an approval package has been registered for a vessel, it will be shown in the 'Fleet in Service' application in the 'Vessels' tab as an icon () in the 'Requests and jobs' column.

 

Click the () button to get the approval status for all packages. The defined status are:

New Document upload, not handled
In progress Document is being processed by DNV
Approved Document approved by DNV
Approved with comments Document approved by DNV with comments. Click comment icon to view the comment
Approved with comments on drawing Document approved by DNV with comments. Click comment icon to view the comment
Not approved Document not approved by DNV. Click comment icon to view the comment
For information Information provided by DNV. Click comment icon to view the information
Examined Document examined by DNV
Examined with comments Document examined by DNV with comments. Click comment icon to view the comment
Discarded Document discarded by DNV
Failed Document was not uploaded to DNV

To open the 'Approval' tab with a detail overview of the registered packages per vessel press "Approval for (vessel name)" in the icon ().

How to request approval

From Fleet Vessel list

  1.  Open Fleet status, navigate to Vessel Services menu, then select Approval of documentation. Here you will find Approval for all your vessels. 
  2. Select the relevant approval category
  3. Complete the required information
  4. Submit the request. 

 

From Vessel overview page

  1. Open Fleet status, navigate to Vessel services, Vessel list and open the vessel by clicking it in the list. Click Approval in the menu.  Here you will find Approval for the specific vessel
  2. Select the relevant approval category
  3. Complete the required information
  4. Submit the request.
